- First Installation of the Gibraltar Cable Barrier System for Mountain West
- Random safety audits are performed on Highway Construction projects for insurance purposes. It was imperative the product allows for safe & proper installation.
- Need to minimize the time the crew is in the median for safety purposes.
Outcome: The process of installing the Gibraltar rail system was very successful from pre-bid information all the way through the final steps of hanging the cable rail. The manuals and training provided by Gibraltar were superb and their staff offered tips that made the project very successful. Response time for any questions or concerns was immediate and the product was delivered ahead of schedule. A safety inspection from an outside service generated positive feedback in the method of installation and the final product. By far, the easiest of any cable rail system we have ever installed.
