TL-4 Three Cable
Full-scale vehicle crash/impact testing has been completed to evaluate the safety performance of our TL-4 three cable longitudinal cable barrier and resulted in acceptance from the FHWA for the Gibraltar TL-4 for use as a highway safety barrier. The appraisal factors for evaluating crash test performance are: structural adequacy, occupant risk and after-collision vehicle trajectory. A test level is defined by impact conditions (speed, approach angle and vehicle type).
Through design and testing Gibraltar has received acceptance from the FHWA for various installation options and system features for the TL-4 which allow Gibraltar to provide the customer with the most cost effective solution for their specific need.
